1.1 About us
Los Pintados Fightwear is a trading name of Arthur Lyle Aves Sagge, a sole trader operating from Office 483, 18 Young St, UNIT LGE, Edinburgh, EH2 4JB, Scotland, United Kingdom. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (reference ZC164894).
In these terms 'we', 'us' and 'our' refer to Los Pintados Fightwear. 'You' refers to the person placing an order through www.lospintadosfightwear.com (the 'Site').

1.2 These terms
These terms apply to every purchase you make from the Site. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully and save a copy for your records. We may change these terms from time to time and the version that applies to your order is the version in force on the date you place the order.
1.3 Products
We sell technical athletic apparel for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, mixed martial arts, and other combat sports. Product images on the Site are for illustration only. Colours may appear slightly different on different screens. Sizes are described on each product page; if you are between sizes we recommend you contact us before ordering.
1.4 Combat sports use disclaimer
Our products are athletic apparel, not protective equipment. They are designed to be worn during training and competition in combat sports. You are responsible for the safe practice of your sport, including selecting appropriate protective equipment (such as mouthguards, head guards, gloves where applicable) and training under qualified supervision.
Inspect each garment before use for damaged seams, tears, or worn fabric. Do not use a damaged garment.
Combat sports involve inherent risk of injury. We do not warrant that our products will prevent injury.
If you experience skin irritation or an allergic reaction, discontinue use and consult a medical professional. Some people have sensitivities to synthetic fibres or dyes.
Do not use our products outside their intended purpose. They are not suitable for activities involving sharp objects, open flames, or extreme temperatures.
1.5 Placing an order
When you submit an order through the Site you are making an offer to buy the products at the prices shown. We will send you an order confirmation by email once your order is received. A contract between you and us is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. Until then we are not obliged to supply the products and may refuse the order at our discretion (for example, if a product is out of stock, if the price was incorrectly displayed, or if we cannot ship to your address).
1.6 Pricing and VAT
All prices on the Site are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are shown inclusive of any applicable UK VAT (currently 20%) unless stated otherwise.
If your delivery address is outside the United Kingdom your order is treated as an export and is zero-rated for UK VAT. The price displayed at checkout will be adjusted accordingly.
Import duties, taxes and other customs charges applicable to your destination country are NOT included in the price and are your responsibility. See our Shipping Policy for details.
If we display an obviously incorrect price (for example a product priced at £1 due to a system error), we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any payment taken.
1.7 Payment
We accept payment via debit card, credit card, and the payment methods listed at checkout. Payment is taken at the point of order. Your card details are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.
1.8 Delivery
Delivery times, carriers and pricing are described in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. Title in the products passes to you once we have received payment in full.
1.9 Right to cancel (UK and EU customers)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the products, without giving a reason.
To cancel, email contact@lospintadosfightwear.com with your order number within 14 days of delivery.
You then have a further 14 days to return the products to us at your own cost, unworn, in original condition with all tags attached and original packaging.
We will refund the price you paid and the standard delivery cost (the cheapest delivery option available) within 14 days of receiving the returned products.
Returns of unworn, tagged items are subject to inspection. If the product shows signs of wear, damage, or missing tags, we may reduce the refund or refuse it. See our Returns Policy for full details.
1.10 Faulty or misdescribed products
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms. In summary:
You have 30 days from receipt to reject products that are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, and receive a full refund.
After 30 days but within six months, we will repair or replace the product. If repair or replacement is not possible, you may be entitled to a refund.
Contact contact@lospintadosfightwear.com with photos and a description of the issue and we will respond within 2 working days.
1.11 Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, logos, designs, photographs, and graphics — is owned by Los Pintados Fightwear or used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
The design motifs used on our products draw inspiration from Filipino tradition and are protected as original creative works.
1.12 Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under UK consumer law.
Subject to that, our total liability to you arising under or in connection with your order is limited to the total price you paid for the products in that order. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses (for example loss of training time, loss of competition fees, or loss of opportunity).
1.13 Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures to perform our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control, including supplier failures, courier disruption, customs delays, pandemics, or government action.
1.14 Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. Any dispute arising from these terms or your order is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the EU, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
